Putting Edna’s steps back in carefully. After some expert assistance in the almost dark we are just about done.
A weekend's hard manual labour employing some big boys toys, rakes, spades, shovels and a whole team of volunteers has stripped up the old lawn and prepared the ground for the new.
It's snowing in Bickleigh Vale...
... and I’ve decided I can’t fight the catkins of our Aspens which float their
downy snow like seeds to coat the lawn.
Tiny buds of the amelanchier canadensis about to open. A white flowering small tree which has its time to shine just about now. Lovely that Edna has scattered these throughout the Vale.
