We have spent the past month pruning the wisteria and the roses. There is something very calming & relaxing about pruning. It was rather enjoyable. Hopefully the roses are now trained to grow where they should and the wisteria will burst into flowers. The chipping pile grows and grows but we have at least started (again) to try and turn our scraps into mulch. After the rat incident we now have reverted to black plastic tubs instead of the open bays. The vege patch is growing slowly, but we don't know what we will be eating as we never kept track of what was planted where.
I'm very excited that our white yulan magnolia tree has come into flower. It will be beautiful when it grows a bit (a lot) bigger. And as our daffodils spread, along with the bluebells it should look really stunning this time of the year in years to come. It is a bit hard to wait!
